Description
CHILD ENDANGERMENT: Due to hole in park fence allowing kids to explore a dangerous area. Children have been "exploring" behind the Christopher Lee parks fence (on East 1st street side) in South Boston - through a hole city crews cut open several months ago and left open. Now that the park has been renovated to attract more kids (whole new baseball field). The hole in the fence is attracting kids to this area. They're trespassing on people's properties, not listening to tenets to advise not too - particularly because there is a near ONE STORY fall the entire length of the park on the residential side of the fence. The other day a dad was walking his dog and was with his small child (4 years old?). The dog went through the fence and the child followed. The dad had to run to grab his little one. Apx 10 year old kids have been climbing through a lot now. Wedging themselves between the house and wall as well as jumping through yards, etc. One slip, one miscalculation, one fall and they can get seriously injured. This hole is extremely dangerous being left open. A kid could be seriously injured/killed. PLEASE PATCH THE FENCE!! (Thank You!)
