- There is ongoing unsafe and illegal moped and e-bike activity in the Downtown Crossing area, particularly near Milk Street and Washington Street. Groups of riders are traveling at high speeds, often going the wrong way on one-way streets and swerving through traffic and pedestrians. Some individuals appear to be intentionally bending or obscuring their license plates, making identification difficult. Many riders are also wearing masks, which adds to safety concerns. This behavior is creating a dangerous environment for pedestrians and drivers.
