- The sidewalks around the Old State House are in very bad shape for those in wheelchairs. There was a section on the north part of Court Street (in front of the Suffolk building) where we had to pull and push someone in a wheelchair to get them through the narrow snowy area. Further, the crosswalk from Court Street closest to the Old State House (as well as the crossing from Washington St) are not wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair. We had to walk far down Washington St, crossing the street in front of the Devonshire building.
