- I am submitting a claim for vehicle tire and wheel damage caused by a severe pothole on Cambridge Street at the intersection of Blossom Street outside Massachusetts General Hospital. On 2/3/26 at approximately 5:20 PM, my vehicle struck a large pothole at this location, resulting in damage to both my front and rear left tires and rims. The vehicle was rendered undriveable and required towing to a BMW dealership for tire replacement and rim inspection. While arranging the tow, the responding tow truck driver stated he had just completed a prior tow from the same pothole, indicating this roadway defect had already caused damage to another vehicle. I will be providing repair estimates and invoices from the dealership tomorrow, along with towing documentation and photographs. The pothole has also been reported to Boston 311. I respectfully request reimbursement for the costs incurred due to this roadway defect. Please let me know if additional information is required.
