Description: The RESTROOM at the Stop and Shop in Brigham Circle, 1620 Tremont Street at Huntington Avenue, has been filthy for months. This afternoon between 4-5:30 pm, the restroom floor was wet, stinky, and littered with what may have been urine. I reported this to (a) two staffers at the Customer Service desk, and one staffer outside just walked away, the man inside Customer Service just 'looked dumbfounded' and said nothing, and Stehanie (how her name is spelled) at Self-Checkout responded that 'This ought to be reported.'; When the woman who was with me asked her, 'Who is responsible for this?' the staffer reportedly responded, 'Produce' or 'The Produce Department' (rather than what I would have suggested or suspected, 'Management to schedule someone to clean it up.' This should be reported to (a) the state AND local departments of public health, (b) Mission Hill City Counselor for the district, (c) the local store managers and the corporate offices of Stop and Shop and its parent company, and (d) Mission Hill Neighborhood Housing Services that owns the building that Stop and Shop rents (as an original anchor tenant).
