- I am experiencing an issue with the BFD portal. When booking a 26F (smoke/carbon monoxide detector) inspection, i always receive one email once the request has been received, another when the fee is paid, and another when the inspection has been scheduled. In the last week or so, i've submitted three requests and did not receive an email to let me know it's been received and prompting me to pay. I logged into the portal because it doesn't typically take more than a day. It allowed me to pay the fees for all three and i did receive a receipt email for that. But i never received another email with the scheduled dates so i logged into the portal and did not see any dates. I called BFD and they had the inspections booked and told me the dates over the phone, but i am afraid of missing an inspection date in the future. One of the inspections is tmrw and i almost missed it. We usually book 2-3 inspections a week, so i don't believe it should be a problem with our email server.
