Description: Dear City of Boston, I am strongly against the redesign of Centre Street in West Roxbury. The design is confusing, there are literally turn lanes that go nowhere. One arrow on the street points into a restaurant and the Post Office; and the other arrow into the exit only driveway for TD Bank. Another arrow is located down by the historical cemetery at Walgreens. That turns literally into the cemetery, and at Starbucks, there is a left turn lane directly into it, however there’s no driveway. The design and layout was not thought through. They are many mistakes. The traffic of cars has created havoc for businesses, residents and for bikers. Traffic has only increased on the side streets abutting Centre Street as well as on the West Roxbury Parkway and Washington. I hope you will reconsider to Reevaluate, Redesign - NOW.
