Description: Park Rangers continue to harass dog owners at Boston Common and direct them to dangerous locations for the dogs. I was directed toward an area that I explained to the officer was strewn with grapes that can be fatal. He refused to go look at the area or assist with clean up and stated that he had grown up with dogs and did not think they were harmful to dogs despite my explaining that they were poisonous, potentially fatal, and adjacent to the off leash area posing an immediate threat to dogs of owners who were directed there. Recommend relocating official off lead areas to the Beacon Street side of the park which are located further from official food vendors and picnicking areas for the summer performances, ensuring trash, pick up, retraining for Park Rangers, including prohibiting them from approaching dogs and owners who pose no danger or disruption to other park members.
