I'm writing to complain about a constant issue involving cars illegally parked in front of our house at the beginning of our driveway. There is a "No Parking" sign at the foot of our driveway for safety reasons. When driving out of our driveway, we are unable to see oncoming traffic that comes down Ashmont St. We live at 250 Ashmont St. at the intersection of Ashmont and Carruth Sts. Again, There is a "Tow Zone..No Parking sign posted there. When we leave the driveway we cannot see what is coming down the hill and they cannot see us. Especially when an SUV is parked there. It's dangerous. The sign is there. Police do not enforce it. We've complained about this matter several times. We want illegally parked cars ticketed. That is the only way people will abide by the law. We put ourselves in harms way each time we leave our driveway and a car is parked there. I'm reporting this before someone gets hurt. Please do what is needed to get resolution to this matter.
